hate to be the bearer of bad news, but going out and meeting people socially, and getting fresh air and time away from screens, and engaging in hobbies, and exercising regularly, and drinking water actually did improve my mental health so much that it is unreal. it’s kinda gross. i’m sorry

hate to bear more bad news friends, but going out and meeting people socially was the answer to my being sad i didn’t ever have any friends to invite to my birthday parties, and now it is in fact my birthday and i am not sitting here crying because i’m lonely but am looking forward to going to hang out with my friends (6 humans, and 1 dog, if you care) who all care about me and want to celebrate me having made it around the sun once more. gross but you gotta do it

Hey, in case no one told you there's nothing wrong with being an addict. You're not a terrible person just because you're addicted to something. You aren't inherently cruel, and you're not vile. Morals have nothing to do with addiction. You being a "good" or a "bad" person is separate from your addiction. Lots of us have addictions and have addictive behavior. Whether it's a substance, either illegal or legal, or a physical thing to participate in like media, addiction is something human beings have always dealt with. Stop equating morality with addiction.
